Android 17 was created by Dr. Gero to destroy Goku for destroying the Red Ribbon Army. But after 17 and 18 are activated 17 steals the controller that will shut them down and smashes it. He then takes care of Dr. Gero by kicking his head off. Go Juunanagou! They then activate Android 16 and set off to find Goku who is fighting the virus that has attacked his heart. 18 and 17 then meet up with Vegeta again in the road and theres a big battle between Vegeta and 18. When Vegetas friends arrive 17 makes a deal with Vegeta that if any of Vegetas friends tried to assist him in any way he'd would be forced to join in the battle. Vegetas deal is broken though after Trunks joins in to help Vegeta, whos yelling out in pain after 18 broke his arm with a kick. 17 flies over to help his sister and hammers Trunks in the back and sends him flying to the ground. Vegeta looses even with the help of his friends and 17 and his sister take off to find a more populated area where they can steal a car and check out the scenary while trying to find Goku. 17 won't ask any of Gokus friends where Goku is because he'd rather have the fun of trying to find him. Along their way 17 and 18 run into some hoodlums and 17 tries to run them over with their van they stole.
The Z-fighters realize that the Androids are heade to GOkus house so they rush to Gokus house and move him. By the time Android 17,18 and 16 reache Gokus house Goku has already been moved to Kames House. Android 17 waits out by the van while 18 searches the house and checks out some cloths.
