Trunks
Trunks is Vegeta and Bulmas son who travels back 20 years to the past in a time capsule that was made by his mother. Once back in the past Trunks tells Goku about the androids that were created by Dr. Gero. In the battle in the future every one was killed by the androids except Goku and Trunks master and friend Gohan. Goku dies before the androids arrive by a virus that attacks the heart. Gohan nearly escapes the battle with the androids. But 13 years later the androids come back for Gohan. Trunks then goes back home to the future to let his mom know that hes ok.
Trunks comes back to the past on the day that the Androids are supposed to appear. Android 19 is destroyed by Vegeta and Android 20, who knows he doesn't stand a chance against the Z-fighters, is killed by Android 17 after releasing him. Android 17 and 18 are stronger though than the Androids Trunks fought in the future. Vegeta takes Android 18 on and Android 17 makes a deal with Vegeta to stay out of the fight as long as none of his friends help him. But Trunks breaks the deal when his father yells out in pain after 18 brokee his arm. Android 17 then joins in the fight but the z-fighters lose the fight.
Not long after the Androids have appeared Cell appears. Being to weak to surrvive a battle with Vegeta or Piccolo Cell begins obsorbing people until he finds Android 17 and 18 and absorbs them to complete his transformation. Cell succeeds in absrobing 18 and uses Vegetas weak spot to let him absorb Android 18. After Cell absorbs Android 18 Vegeta is knocked unconcious by the powerful monster and then Trunks fights Cell. Trunks is stronger than Cell but to slow to catch him. Cell gives Trunks a hint to why he cant catch him and then Trunks realizes that his bulky muscles are slowing his speed down. Trunks is about to give up but Cell lets him live and decides to have a tournament in 10 days.
